I wish we were actively planning further ahead. (I need to tighten the screws on that railing beside the basement steps.)
I wish our networks were more intimate than they are. (I need to send more letters.)
I wish we made things more rewarding instead of more profitable. (I need to finish knitting that thing.)
I wish we could take better care of what hurts. (I need to give more pep talks and placebo hugs.)
I wish we all felt like we were capable of being better. (I need to forgive and apologize more.)
I wish we did more call and response type activities. (I need to ask for be of more help.)
I wish we didn’t have break so many spirits to make a buck. (I need to make play more important.)
I wish more good things trickled up. (I need to compliment strangers more often.)
I wish reality had more heft. (I need to promote more craftsmanship.)
I wish the Just World wasn’t a fallacy. (I need to share harder.)
And I need to figure out formatting these newsletters on mobile because this interface moves things more randomly than Microsoft word. Sorry for the funky presentation this week.
